Morning Tipsters!!!
Well it is all over and I can say that winners are grinners. Not me, I didn't win squat this year which is pretty much ops normal. So without further ado, here are our grinners for 2025:
1st place and $2000 goes to one of our competition stalwarts Big Ted Boddington!!! He has been with us from the start and it is great to see him get a win. Well done mate!!!
2nd spot and $1000 has made Sarah Nelson very happy and again, another tipster who has been with us for the long haul. So glad to be shelling out the hard earned to a champion lady!!!
Now I initially stuffed up and awarded 3rd and $800 to Andrew Gabbot but had to quickly back pedal when I realised that the lovely Brenda Lynch finished on the same points so both of them had to split the prizemoney and ended up with $400 each. Well done guys.
Last but definitely not least was yet another of our founding tipsters Kath Pritchard who finished 9th last but $300 richer!!! Maybe she can donate that money to her beloved Manly side to try and buy some better players so they can play finals footy next year???
I want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone who participated in the tipping comp next year. There will be a few changes to the 2026 season with the introduction of a Joker Round to our tipping comp. There may be one or two other changes but I haven't locked anything in just yet so stay tuned.
Thank you all once again for a very enjoyable season. I look forward to tipping with you all again next year and hopefully we will crack that elusive 100 tipster mark. We have been up there for the last few years but I really want to crack the ton so spread the work.
